Production: The total production of Passenger Vehicles*, Three Wheelers, Two Wheelers, and Quadricycle in the month of November 2022 was 20,42,575 units.
Domestic Sales:

Passenger Vehicles* sales were 2,76,231 units in November 2022.

Three-wheeler sales were 45,664 units in November 2022.

Two-wheeler sales were 12,36,190 units in November 2022.
Performance: April - November 2022
Production: Total production of Passenger Vehicles**, Three Wheelers, Two Wheelers and Quadricycle in April-November 2022 was 1,74,04,800 units.
Domestic Sales:

Passenger Vehicles** sales were 25,04,084 units in April-November 2022

Three-wheeler sales were 2,96,430 units in April-November 2022

Commenting on November sales, Mr Vinod Aggarwal, President, SIAM said, “Positive consumer and business sentiments has reflected in the better sales in the month of November 2022, compared to the previous year. We note a sequential decline over October 2022 attributable to seasonality and softness in key export markets.”
Commenting on Industry performance in November 2022, Mr Rajesh Menon, Director General, SIAM said, “Passenger vehicles posted highest ever sales in FY 2022-23 till November, while the Three-Wheelers are still lower than 2010-11 and Two-Wheelers are less than 2016-17. Higher interest rates and increase in long term insurance premium, continues to be a concern for the consumers.”
