As part of SIAM Sustainable Mobility Advocacy Concoction FY 2022-23, “ (Safe Journey) initiative has been approved to highlight contributions made by Indian auto industry in providing safer, affordable and environmentally benign inclusive mobility to all. In order to prioritise road safety namely environment, engineering, enforcement, education and emergency care, Society for Automotive Fitness & Environment (SAFE - An initiative of SIAM) has been engaged in doing pioneering work since year 1999.
SAFE is dedicated towards engaging with road safety stakeholders namely Policy makers both at Centre & States, Enforcement authorities, Vehicle Manufacturers, Vehicle Owners, drivers, public including pedestrians, students, other road users, personnel involved in emergency care, etc. in its endeavor to spread 360 degree awareness on imperatives of safety on road.
