SIAM continuously works towards supporting sustainable development of the Indian Automobile Industry and facilitates enhancement of its competitiveness. SIAM also regularly engages in public policy advocacy and organizes innovative programs with stakeholders of the automotive industry. Towards this, SIAM has created a specific group namely “Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 and Ease of Doing Business”, with a focus on the upcoming business innovations and practices. The group organized an international lecture in July 2021 entitled “Digital Innovation and Smart Manufacturing: Industry 4.0 and Beyond”, which was represented by a host of International and National speakers and was well received with participation of over 400 delegates virtually.
