The SIAM 16th lecture series is on the broad theme of Vehicle Scrappage Policy and Regulatory Framework focusing and is being held on the following topic: Draft Indian Vehicle Scrappage Policy 2021: Features and Implementation Planning on 18th August 2021, 1030-1300 hrs. The 16th lecture aims at disseminating knowledge, experiences and learnings with the stakeholders on ELV scrappage policy and related regulations with national and international perspectives. The lecture will highlight imperatives of the ELV recycling, reduce-reuse-recycling model, remanufacturing, continual utilization of resources replacing the traditional linear economy with circular economy.
