The Society of India Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has embarked upon an environment lecture series launched on the ‘Environment Day’ on 5th June 2020 on the selected 20 thematic areas on environment and road safety for integrating and mainstreaming the environmental and safety imperative for attaining sustainability in automotive sector. So far, SIAM has organized 9 lecture series which have been highly popular and received immense response. The ensuing 10th & 11th environment lecture series on 5th March 2021 and 26th March 2021 is on the broad theme on ‘Environmentally Sound Management of Chemicals and End-of- Life Vehicles (ELVs) in India’ envisaging the following subject matter:
