Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) with its body Society for Automotive Fitness & Environment (SAFE a SIAM Initiative) has adopted proactive measures in coordination with State Government to address the critical issue of road safety by way of organizing awareness campaigns, workshops, and training programs.  With the commitment to promote Safety & Environment, SIAM launched सुरक्षित सफर (Safe Journey) initiative at the SAFE’s Annual Convention in the year 2022. The SAFE conventions have served as a platform for road safety advocates, experts, stakeholders, and policymakers to exchange insights and strategies, focusing on collaborative efforts for achieving a safer road environment. The past three editions of SAFE Annual Convention were successfully held at major states namely Odisha, Assam & Karnataka contributing towards road safety

In line with this aspiration, we are glad to share that SAFE Annual Convention 2025 is meticulously being organized in the State of Tamil Nadu with the theme “Every Life Counts – Strengthening Road Safety for a Safer Future”, standing as a testament to SAFE's inclusive and comprehensive approach to fostering safer roads across India. The SAFE Annual Convention will be followed by SIAM Technical Workshop and the Convention will also witness Sustainable Mobility Exposition with display products, technology and services involving participation from Automobile Industry players, OEMs and Component Manufacturers, Technology providers of IDTR, VLTD, HSRP, ATS and I&C, Driving Simulators, Medical experts and NGOs
