The Indian Auto industry is transitioning fast towards sustainable mobility and adopting imperatives of sustainable development across several verticals viz. road safety and decarbonization including its goals announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister in COP26 at Glasgow. As India embarks on the journey of ‘Amrit Kaal’ for the next 25 years, Auto Industry aims to further increase domestic manufacturing and exports. Auto Industry is putting significant efforts to decarbonize the transport sector by embracing a host of multiple alternative technologies like Ethanol, Flex-fuel, CNG, Bio-CNG, Hybrid Electric, Electric, and Hydrogen. The industry is also leveraging IT-based systems for making technologically smart vehicles with aspirations of sustainable growth.
It is in this context, SIAM is organising it’s 63rd SIAM Annual Convention on Tuesday, 12th September 2023 at Hotel Taj Palace & Convention Centre, Diplomatic Enclave, New Delhi, where senior leaders from the Government, policy makers and industry experts will deliberate and brainstorm strategies for the future of Sustainable Mobility.
Over the years, the SIAM Annual Convention has attained a distinct identity as India’s most important annual Automotive event, witnessing participation from more than 1,000 officials including eminent Indian and Global Industry Leaders, Senior Government officials and various other stakeholders.
