  • 13th SIAM Looking Ahead Conclave

    SIAM is organizing the “13th SIAM Looking Ahead Conclave” on 10th January 2019 in New Delhi. The theme for this year’s programme is “Recalibrate to Sustain in Changing Times”. The programme is being organized by SIAM Economic Research Group. The Conclave aims to provide insights into the future of the different vehicle segments of the Indian market – Passenger Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles, Three Wheelers and Two Wheelers for the year ahead. The programme aims at bringing together stakeholders to discuss the future of the Auto Industry.

  • 3rd ANNUAL SIAM-CSR CONCLAVE 2018

    The automobile industry has been involved in CSR activities to improve the life of residents in and around the locations of their production plants and extending hand to other areas of the country much before the CSR regulations came into effect.   • Asian Automotive Environmental Forum 2018

    Venue : Hotel Holiday Inn, Aerocity, Near Delhi International Airport, New Delhi Date : 01-Nov-2018

    It gives us immense pleasure that this year Japan Automotive Recyclers Association (JARA), in collaboration with Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), will be hosting the 11th Asian Automotive Environmental Forum (AAEF) in New Delhi. The theme of AAEF this year is - “Automotive Recycling in India: Pathway to the Future - Toward a Sustainable Society”. The focus of the conference will be on setting-up viable infrastructure and providing solutions for dealing with end-of-life vehicles (ELV) in India. Vehicle penetration in India has seen a sharp rise over the years, and among them, Asian Automotive Manufacturers brands gain a prominent position. In such a scenario, vehicle recycling becomes the need of the hour and a policy requirement, is a pre-requisite, that is currently lacking in our country. Eminent speakers from Asian Automotive Recycling industries are expected to be a part of the conference. We hope to facilitate networking between them and India’s prominent figures and market leaders, to make the conference fruitful.

    Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) is organizing its 58th Annual Convention on Thursday the 6th September 2018 in New Delhi. Over the years, the convention has assumed a distinct character and has become one of the India’s most coveted automotive event. It has become a global event focused on issues influencing Indian automotive industry’s competitiveness and its integration with the global economy. The global automotive industry is going through interesting times and we see the next decade to be a watershed era for the mobility world. With green being the buzz word, greener technologies like electric mobility and mobility solutions like driverless vehicles, internet of things, shared vehicles, connected vehicles have garnered much interest in public debates on the unprecedented future. Emissions and safety have become global concerns, leading to increase in expectations from the automobile industry. Moreover, the needs and aspirations of our consumers are also growing and will increasing play an important role in future product development. There will be countless challenges and opportunities for the mobility industry.
