  • International Conference on Recycling & Circular Economy in Automotive Sector

    Venue : IEML, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR Date : 10-Feb-2020

    The 15th edition of Asia’s largest and world’s second largest motor show, Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2020, is being organized by SIAM from 7th to 12th February 2020 at IEML, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Spread over 58 acres, showcasing tomorrow’s mobility, the Auto Expo sees international engagements from countries like China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, The Netherlands, Sweden, and the USA, along with participation from over 100 exhibitors unveiling more than 100 products and witnesses an incredible footfall of plus six lac people from all age groups, among others, all converging into a world class exhibition. On the occasion of the 15th Auto Expo – The Motor Show, SIAM is organizing an International Conference on ‘Recycling and Circular Economy in Automotive sector’ on 10th February 2020 to showcase the circularity of materials in automotive sector and establish a ‘cradle to cradle’ model aimed at eliminating waste through re- cycling and reuse of end-of-life vehicles. The objective of the conference is to highlight the continual utilization of resources replacing the traditional linear economy, which envisages a ‘Take, Make, Dispose’ model of pro- duction, which is in line with the draft National Resource Efficiency Policy 2019, ELV Guidelines and Recycling Guidelines issued by the Government of India.

  • SIAM Automobile Finance Summit

    The Indian Automobile Industry has grown leaps and bounds in the last two decades. The Vehicle Financing and Leasing Industry has played a major role in the growth of vehicle penetration in the Indian market. Today around 85% of Passenger Vehicles, 90% of Commercial Vehicles and 50% of Two-Wheelers are financed in the country. The Automobile Finance and Leasing industry is also going through a churning and new imperatives are emerging. Against this background, SIAM Finance, Leasing & Insurance Group has decided to organize the first edition of SIAM Automobile Finance Summit during Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2020.

  • Global Electrification Mobility Summit 2020

    Venue : IEML, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR Date : 07-Feb-2020 to 08-Feb-2020

    SIAM, in this context, is proud to announce the journey beyond 2020 by hosting the 1st Edition of GEMS - Global Electric Mobility Summit on 7th -8th February 2020 in conjunction with Auto Expo – The Motor Show. GEMS will be the single largest platform comprising of Summit, Countries’ Pavilion, Business-to-Business Meetings, Startups Interaction, Technology Exposition, in the area of electric mobility. Global automotive fraternity from France, Germany, Israel, Japan, United Kingdom and policy makers from Indian State Governments of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, New Delhi, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and many more are likely to be associated with GEMS 2020.

  • SIAM - Auto Trade Dialogue

    SIAM is organizing the 9th Auto Trade Dialogue on 7th February 2020 in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. The Trade Dialogue is being organized on the sidelines of Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2020, which is being held in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR from 5th February – 12th February 2020. SIAM Auto Trade Dialogue would facilitate better understanding and appreciation of the developments and needs of the automotive industries in individual countries and regions. It would also enable convergence of Automobile industry issues across the world and identification of common interests. This initiative has been helping the planners, policy makers, both industry & government, to evolve strategies and understand the areas of concern for economies around the world. The theme for discussion this year is New Paradigms in the Automobile Industry : New Products & New Opportunities. The presentations would cover topics such as the direction each country is taking in evolving their policy towards automotive industry, the developments happening within the auto industry in these countries and future technologies, such as Autonomous vehicles, ADAS, Connected vehicles, Fuel Cell Vehicles and Electric Vehicles. We are also in discussion with other countries for participation.

  • 14th SIAM Styling & Design Conclave and 12th Automotive Design Challenge

    SIAM’s Styling & Design Group, has been promoting capacity building in the area of styling & design of vehicles and has been striving to develop capabilities in India. Indian market is also maturing at this point in time and customers are increasingly looking at style – shape, color, feel, etc. for their preferred automobiles and, therefore, the industry is also gearing up to give its best. This Group, amongst other objectives, seeks to build bridges between Styling & Design people in India and their global counterparts to share information of common interest and enhance mutual skills and capabilities through interactions. We are happy to inform you that following the successful conduct of the previous thirteen editions of Styling & Design Conclaves, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) is planning to organize the next Styling & Design Conclave along with the 12th Automotive Design Challenge (ADC)

  • 14th Looking Ahead Conclave - “Automotive Industry and India’s USD 5 Trillion Vision: 2020 and Beyond".

    We are happy to inform you that like previous years, SIAM is planning to organize the “14th Looking Ahead Conclave” on 24th January 2020 in New Delhi. The programme is being organized by SIAM Economic Research Group. The Conclave aims to provide insights into the future of the different vehicle segments of the Indian market – Passenger Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles, Three Wheelers and Two Wheelers for the year ahead. The programme aims at bringing together stakeholders to discuss the future of the Auto Industry.
